I would appreciate if some native French speakers could tell me what the literary classics are considered to be for that age group (like Little House on the Prairie or Johnie Tremain in English.) Difficulty is not an issue (sometimes I read Shakespeare just for fun), but recently I’ve really been in the mood for a beautiful, classic story that everybody loves, but won’t require too much, well, thinking lol. So far I’m considering Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie and The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. I guess I’m in a bit of a British literature mood. Any suggestions?
